RELAZE DROP (WX17DP-A)
Why The Relaze?
Picture the moment: you're heading out the door — into the woods, onto the job site, or just through another busy day — and you reach for your folding knife. What do you actually want in your hand? Not a safe queen. Not a shelf ornament. You want a knife you can trust, and one you can afford to use without flinching. The Relaze was born for that. From its size and materials to its craftsmanship and deployment — every decision serves one purpose: to build a knife you'll actually use, and one you can count on when it matters.
Handle & Structure
At 0.56" handle thickness and 4.4" closed length, the Relaze Drop carries with real presence while staying comfortable for all-day use. The G10 handles deliver a rugged, high-visibility finish that resists moisture, chemicals, and impact — built to perform in the field, not just look good on a shelf. Precision-machined stainless steel hardware keeps the build tight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to service. The result is a handle that feels solid, secure, and ready for whatever the day throws at you.
High Carbon Steel Blade
The Relaze offers two blade styles including drop point and clip point. The 3.5" Drop Point/Clip Point blade is crafted from D2 high carbon steel at 59–61HRC — a steel legendary for its outstanding edge retention, wear resistance, and toughness. The flat grind and black PVD/stonewash finish provide a low-glare, wear-hiding surface that looks better with use. The Drop Point profile delivers a versatile balance of slicing power and tip control — ideal for camping, hunting, and everyday cutting tasks. A dependable work blade that holds its edge and asks for little in return. To accommodate the usage characteristics of different user groups and scenarios, The Relaze offers two Blade Style options: DROP POINT and CLIP POINT.
Lock & Deployment
The Liner Lock delivers confident, one-handed operation with solid lock-up and smooth disengagement — keeping your fingers clear of the blade path. Deployment is quick and controlled via the flipper tab or dual thumb studs, while the ball bearing pivot ensures consistent, friction-free action every time. Built for fast, safe, and fidget-friendly use.
